Description
This is another of the unique freestanding pieces I have in stock which is a collaboration between myself, and Imants of Immy’s Woodcraft.
The oval frame has been hand carved by Immy from a beautiful piece of sustainably sourced wood. He tries his best to use the wood he takes from the center of every piece as a base, leaving as little waste as possible.
The central fused glass panel depicts a hand cut butterfly, with bright dichroic glass wings flying above a branch. The dichroic glass will show as a different colour depending on if it is viewed under reflected light or transmitted light
