The simple Celtic knot, known as the Trinity knot; Triquetra or Triple knot is probably the best known of the simple Celtic knots. It’s a symmetrical three cornered knot, that is often taken to refer to the theological doctrine of the Trinity. It was once associated with the god Odin in Scandinavia.
I currently have a cobalt blue or a turquoise knot in stock, both are made from a glass with a slight ripple, known as waterglass. Both are currently silver finish, though if you prefer, they could patinated with either copper or black. Each hangs by a length of decorative copper chain. Each knot is about 8″ point to point.
The Triple knot; Trinity knot or Triquetra suncatcher has been a suncatcher that I’ve made for quite some time, in varying colours. they look great hanging in a sunny window, on a wall or even in the garden.
