Description
This gorgeous copper and glass bracelet is a unique Dragon Art Glass original.
It has been hand-forged from copper wire, and my own flameworked beads, with the addition of electric blue coated hematite spacer beads.
The transparent electric blue on these flameworked beads is stunning, and really helps to set off the white swirls and dots. I think it’s the colour I enjoy working with most. I’ve swirled and dotted each bead, making every bead different, yet matching.
Each flameworked bead has been wire wrapped with a swirl of thicker copper wire top and bottom of the bead, and the set of 5 beads connected by copper sailors knots. To add to it, and make it more comfortable to wear, I have used four pairs of electric blue coated hematite beads near the ends, and finished the bracelet off with a hand formed snake shaped strong copper clasp.
The blue and white beads are about 15mm each in diameter, and about 9mm in width.
The overall length of the bracelet is about 21cm including the clasp, which makes it suitable for a 7-7.5 inch wrist. It is also possible to shorten the bracelet by using the clasp to attach to the loops of different beads, so the bracelet is to some extent adjustable.
