This bracelet has been made with a combination of my own flameworked beads; ribbed, hollow pure copper beads, and paired with one of my own handmade s-shaped copper hook clasps.
This gorgeous flamework bead and copper bracelet is one of a kind.
The beads are made from a base glass of white effetre ( a glass made in Murano, Italy) and each of the 5 beads have been decorated with rich yellow/orange swirls and stacked dots (egg yolk coloured is probably the easiest way to describe the yellow). Every bead is different, though matching.
Each donut shaped flameworked bead has been attached to a rippled pure copper spacer bead by a copper wired sailors knot. There are six copper beads in total in the bracelet. The bracelet is closed with a hand formed s shaped strong copper hook and eye finding.
The beads vary slightly in size, and are graduated throughout the bracelet. The overall length of the bracelet is about 21cm including the clasp, which makes it a comfortable fit on a 7-7.5 inch wrist.
It is possible to shorten or lengthen the bracelet by using the clasp to attach to one of the two end loops.
