Make your own Fused Glass Decoration – Heart

All you need to make your very own fused glass mosaic style heart suncatcher – (except the kiln!)

This kit contains a clear heart shape base, and enough small mosaic pieces of coloured glass to produce a unique glass suncatcher.  The idea is that you glue the small pieces of glass onto the base heart shape with the supplied glue, allow it to dry and then return it to me via post to fuse in my kiln.  Once fused, the heart will be cleaned, a hole drilled for a hanging ribbon, and it will be posted back to you ready to hang where you will.

Although this kit is suitable for children, I would recommend adult supervision for ages below about 8, due to the nature of the material, the small parts, and incase of sharp edges – it is after all glass!  Ages 5 and up should find it enjoyable to arrange and try and fit in as many pieces as possible , under adult supervision of course.

The glue supplied is water based, washable and non toxic, and although it will stick the glass to glass it is not intended as a permanent fixing. It is recommended that once completed and dried, the heart is returned to be fused permanently together, providing you with a unique hand crafted decoration that should last a lifetime.
