All you need to make your very own Rainbow Coaster in fused glass – (except the kiln!)
This kit contains a clear base square, and enough small mosaic pieces of coloured glass to produce a rainbow coloured coaster. The idea is that you glue the small pieces of glass onto the base shape with the supplied glue, allow it to dry(I recommend at least 24 hours) and then return it to me via post to fuse in my kiln. Once fused, the coaster will be cleaned, silicon rubber feet attached, and it will be posted back to you.
Although this kit is suitable for children, I would recommend adult supervision for ages below about 8, due to the nature of the material, the small parts, and incase of sharp edges – it is after all glass! Ages 5 and up should find it enjoyable to arrange and try and fit in as many pieces as possible.
The glue supplied is water based, washable and non toxic, and although it will stick the glass to glass it is not intended as a permanent fixing. It is recommended that once completed and dried, the rainbow coaster is returned to be fused permanently together, providing you with a unique hand crafted coaster.
