Description
These are all my own handmade, flameworked Spangle big holed beads on leather cord necklace. There are a set of seven beads on each necklace, making a rainbow of colours. They can be worn as a rainbow, or as separate colours. (I am even happy to sell you separate beads to add to your collection – there will be a bead section coming soon to my shop).
Each bead is individually made by melting coloured glass rod in a very hot flame and wrapping the molten glass around the mandrel.
ALL of the glass beads I use for my jewellery are made by myself in my studio, using glass from various glass makers, including glass from the island of Murano. All are fully annealed and cleaned prior to use, and they are all compatible with the well known European charm bead bracelets.
I have been making glass beads for 12 years.
